"Innocence "
While working on this painting I happened to think of some sweet and sour truths.
One how naturally we expressed our emotions as kids and the other how pretentious the social norms have made us. Of course we never saw it coming but hey most of us are already standing there, standing with them judgemental people feeding them more words words of encouragement.
Sometimes when I am alone and pondering over some really beautiful things in life, the judgemental side of me tries to overtake my perception. I mean where have we lost ourselves in the whirlpool of opinions and judgements? Is it really you who is speaking when you talk? Why do we waste our time pleasing the -"most of the times illogical norms" of the society. Instead we can be ourselves and inspire others in finding their true selves, to form their own beliefs, to speak their own thoughts and discard all the layers.
I would like to express my gratitude to my friend for letting me use one of his pictures to create this artwork. I hope I've done justice to the print produced by your lenses.
