The Department of Food Technology, FoE and Skill Development Centre conducted a Skill Training program on "Understanding the Adulteration in Common Foods" on 11.11.2024.
Dr. P. Hemaprabha was invited as the Chief Guest and to deliver a keynote address. From this program, students have understood the significance of Adulteration in foods and how it affects the human body. Some techniques to detect these adulterants were also discussed in the session. Felicitation was given Dr. A. Amudha, Dean, FoE. Welcome address was given by Dr. P. Karthik, Head of the Department and Vote of thanks was given by Dr. S. Manivannan, Head of the Skill Development Centre.
