The Department of Food Technology, FoE and Skill Development Centre conducted a Skill Training program on "Understanding the Adulteration in Common Foods" on 11.11.2024.

Dr. P. Hemaprabha was invited as the Chief Guest and to deliver a keynote address. From this program, students have understood the significance of Adulteration in foods and how it affects the human body. Some techniques to detect these adulterants were also discussed in the session. Felicitation was given Dr. A. Amudha, Dean, FoE. Welcome address was given by Dr. P. Karthik, Head of the Department and Vote of thanks was given by Dr. S. Manivannan, Head of the Skill Development Centre.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education has organized a Guest Lecture on “Digital Circuit for Biomedical Application” on 30.09.2024 (Monday).Dr.Suganthi Evangeline, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication,Sri Eshwar College of Engineering ,Coimbatore was invited as guest speaker. In this lecture, 50 students and 3 faculty members participated and got benefitted. From this program, students have learned the concept of Digital Circuit for biomedical Applications. The Department of Management at the Faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce & Science, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, has organized an engaging skill training program for III year BBA Students. The training was conducted by Mr. Abhilash Ashok, Chief trainer for Additional skill Acquisition program (ASAP) by MHRD. This program aimed to enhance the practical skills and knowledge of the BBA students, providing them with valuable experience in Career Building and Personality Development. Mr. Abhilash Ashok, with his extensive expertise in skill Acquisition & Development , led the sessions, offering insights into the required skills and practices. The training included a series of interactive workshops, demonstrations, and practical exercises, allowing students to add up values and skills to themselves for career enhancement. The program was well-received by the students, who appreciated the opportunity to learn from an expertise in the skill development sector. The live experience and interaction and direct made with the expert interaction bridges the gap between academic learning and career growth leading to make a better prospectus, preparing the students for future careers in Management and skill acquisition.

"The Department of Civil Engineering" and "Skill Development Centre KAHE", hosted a Skill Development Program on Differential Global Positioning System(DGPS) on August 6, 2024. Mr. Jaisankar.K, Founder of Indus Instrument Chennai, was the chief guest.
The program began with a warm welcome by Mr. Balamurugesan.T, AP/Civil and inauguration by Dr. A. Amudha, Dean of FOE, KAHE. Special Address given by Dr. S. Manivannan, Head SDC /Kahe and Dr. V. Johnpaul, AP/Civil provided an insightful introduction of our resource person. Mr. Jaisankar.K delivered an insightful session on DGPS, benefiting faculty and students.
