Brilliant CBSE School, Ankale (Sankeshwar) Meaningfully Celebrates World Environment Day
With the aim of instilling environmental awareness and responsibility among students, Brilliant CBSE School, Ankale, observed World Environment Day with great significance and purpose.
The event was graced by Mr. Siddesh Puthane, the newly elected President of the Chikkodi District Electronic Media Association, who served as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the critical role every individual plays in protecting the environment and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles and take personal responsibility for their surroundings. His speech was both inspiring and thought-provoking.
The program was presided over by Mr. Pavan Kanagali, President of the institution, who reiterated the importance of environmental preservation for future generations. He also announced an impactful initiative — to plant a sapling on every student’s birthday, embedding a culture of green responsibility in school life.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Administrative Officer Mr. Vinay Haladevarmath, journalist Mr. Shashank Mali, Principal Mrs. Naseema Dhange, faculty members, and students.
As part of the celebration, students showcased their creativity and awareness through poster presentations, musical performances, and street plays, all centered around environmental themes.
The program culminated with a mass tree plantation drive, where over 50 saplings were planted within the school campus as a symbolic and practical step toward a greener future. The event concluded with a collective environmental pledge, affirming the school’s commitment to sustainability and nature conservation..
