I was afraid of posting this just in case it comes across as too dark or triggering, so apologies in advance 🙇.
This took a while to do because I couldn't decide if I liked it or hated it. I feel like the reason I hated it so much was because the girl in the painting represents a part of me that I didn't like. And maybe by putting this out there I was also subjecting myself to being vulnerable (which we're all about in 2022 ayyyyyyyy).

Having said that, how do you deal with burnout?

As an artist, I'd always found myself shying away from creating work that was too personal or reflected who I am as a person. I guess a part of me wanted to be this mysterious being that just created cool stuff (what a joke, lol).
Only recently I discovered that I create things that I like when I tap into those dormant emotions, basically I like the stuff I create when I'm sad or angry. I don't mean to brag but I am really really proud of this one. If anyone had any interpretations of what this could mean (aside from my notes)
