For the Sunshine Orchestra, this collaboration was a celebration of passion, unity, and the power of music to connect cultures on one iconic stage. From the first note to the final bow, it has been an inspiring journey for students of the Sunshine Orchestra - Nagaland with multi-instrumentalist Martin Pleass from MTB exams✨️

Martin brought rhythm, creativity, and collaboration into every moment—whether it was clapping through rhythmic recall, exploring blues grooves, or bringing Vivaldi to life as a team. 🎶

More than just a workshop, became a space where young musicians listened, learned, and truly played together.

On Thursday, October 9th, a very special performance will be gracing the Living Arts Centre stage! The Sunshine Orchestra will be performing in Toronto for the first time, joined by special guest A.R. Rahman, as part of The Glenn Gould Foundation's Promise of Music conference.

The Sunshine Orchestra consists of gifted young musicians from under resourced communities who receive free world-class training at A.R. Rahman’s K.M. Music Conservatory in Chennai, India.
