Ragasudha Hall, Rasikas Welcome.
Kedaram Trust has arranged a wonderful program on Syama Sastri at Ragasudha tomorrow—truly a fortunate occasion for the venue and rasikas alike.
Shyama Shastri was the eldest of the Trinity - three most precious of Carnatic composers - Tyagaraja, Muthuswami Diksh*tar, and Shyama Shastri himself. Shyama Shastri was an intense devotee of Devi Kamakshi, and a priest at the temple of Goddess Bangaru Kamakshi, where his forefathers were priests for several years. Most of his compositions are in adoration of Devi Kamakshi.
Sangita Kalanidhi R K Shriramkumar is one of the most highly knowledgeable musicians and all his lec dems are treasures of musical knowledge. His lecture-demonstrations are known for their clarity, depth, and accessibility—making even complex ideas easy to grasp while retaining their profundity. He is accompanied by his devoted team, a circle of sincerity and brilliance, composed of some of the finest classical artists - Vidushi Amritha Murali - Vocal Support, Vidwan Madan Mohan - Violin and Vidwan K Arunprakash - Mridangam. Dear Rasikas do attend this Kedaram program.
