Wr are absolutely delighted to have Dibya Nayar's Dakshina Repertory perform 'Piththan' at Aikyam 2025.
Divya Nayar is a Bharatanatyam dancer-teacher based in Chennai. Trained at Kalakshetra and
Guided by her guru, Sheejith Krishna, she has developed an approach that balances
rigor with imagination. Her artistic practice draws from music, theatre, and collaborative
performance, exploring how tradition can remain vital in contemporary life. Through Dakshina,
her repertory and learning space, she nurtures a community of thoughtful dancers while pursuing
her own choreographic and performance work. Guided by joy, curiosity, and integrity, Divya
views art as an integrated practice—where movement, music, and visual expression exist as mind, body & spirit.
