C4 - For the love of Cinema C4 This new year a very close friend of mine put her foot down and told me to move my arse and get going with this idea. Good Cinema.

So here I am sitting in a quiet hotel room in Guruvayur and creating this page for all you cinema lovers.C4 is an idea I've had for quite some time now. In fact the logo was designed by a friend / colleague almost 9 months back. C4 is a dialogue space to discuss cinema. It is for all those people who love the pure art of cinema. For all those who are affected by this wonderful art form in one way

or another. On this space we will review, discuss, debate, share and enlighten. Anything and everything that goes into making a good film can be a topic for discussion. Now I know many of my friends here are scattered all around the place but for all those who are in Chennai I have another idea. Can we make C4 a physical space? Can we meet at least once a fortnight to watch a film and then discuss it over a cuppa. We could meet at a neutral venue (need to figure out a place where we could do this free of cost, suggestions welcome). Or else we could meet at someone's house and take turns every time. So Chennaites tell me if you're interested in starting the C4 club. I am keen and I would start it even if it is going to be only one person cos I feel this can be an enriching experience. Waiting for all your valuable feedback. And yeah wish you all a great new year. Let this be a year of the cinema :) Cheers :)

Intezaar is a short that delves into the mundaneness of life as we try to keep it interesting and relevant in current times, even as it continues to run on loop. Again. And again.

I would like to thank:

Brooke Bourgeois for her cartoon that inspired us;
Rao Hamza Hayat for his soulful music that has complemented the narrative; Darshan Karunamurthy for taking time off from his busy schedule to edit the film; Smrithi Amarendran for capturing the mood so wonderfully on camera and of course our lead, Sumvith Chodavaram for doing things on repeat mode and helping us capture the essence of the script.
