I shall cherish this moment - my lifetime. My students performed at Salem and the function was presided by Umayalpuram Dr Sivaraman Mama (Padma Vibushan awardee). He blessed me and shared pleasing words about my nattuvangam and the way I had trained my disciples.

With me on the orchestra was Sri Aravind Jayaraman (Vocal Recital) Mridangam Sri Naveen Cheenuu Sri and Violin Smt Sriranjani Ramkumar .

My disciples at Sri Vidya Vani Vidyalaya who performed and made it a grand success were Sri Senthil K*mar, K*m Swatipriya, K*m Krithika Saravanan, K*m Dharshini Sankararaman, K*m Niharika Sudarshan, K*m Oviya and K*m Yashna.

I thank whole heartedly Mr and Mrs Sankararaman and Rasi Sri Saravanan for entrusting this responsibility upon me.

Thanks are due to Delhi Sunderrajan and AVR Sir and Madam, and all other dignitaries who were present during the event.

Rechita is a holistic bharathanatyam dance institution in Chennai stepping into its successful 27th year, with this Navratri, 2023. I thank the supporting well-wishers, parents, family and students.

We welcome interested ones to join Rechita family. Those who had learnt with us earlier and have not been able to keep in touch with art, here is the chance to break all your stoppers, and rejoin to experience the joy in art pursuit. Lovingly Dr. Vijay Madhavan.
