Divyanjali Initially, Divyanjali started with limited number of students, but now has three branches one at CIT Nagar, KK Nagar and Kalpakkam with nearly 150 students.

Divyasena possesses over 15 years of experience as a teacher in the field of Bharatanatyam and is the founder Director of “Divyanjali” school of classical dance. Her utmost sincerity & commitment has enabled her students to win accolades in her dance school in several prestigious competitions. Divyanjali which was inaugurated by the renowned artists Smt. Chitra Visveshwaran & Smt.Nandhini Ramani i

n the year 2000 is a reward for her hardwork and dedication. Since its inception in 1994, the school has come a long way in producing dancers of remarkable talent and has earned itself a place amongst the best dance schools for training in Bharatanatyam .The well-formulated syllabus that the school follows in imparting training both in the theoretical and practical aspects of dance has been carefully drafted by Divyasena, keeping in the mind the requirements and abilities of students of various age groups. Besides practical training and dance theory, Laya, rhythmical aspect of dance receives special focus. Special demonstrations on Tala Chakra and Laya are favorites among the students here. Abhinaya, the expressive aspect in Bharatanatyam is imparted to the children by creatively engaging them in the teaching process. It comes as no surprise that several of Divyanjali’s students have become recipients of prestigious scholarships like the CCRT scholarship instituted by the Govt. of India and many continue to put their sincere efforts to achieve their dreams in the dance field.Almost thirty of her students have been graduated to the arangetram level

Celebrating 30 Years of Success: A Memorable Performance at Bangkok Mariamman Temple

Divyanjali is thrilled to share the joyous occasion of our 30th anniversary, celebrated with a remarkable performance at the Bangkok Mariamman Temple. This event not only marked a significant milestone for our team but also showcased the beauty of collaboration across borders and institutions.

Working alongside my senior student, Swarna Varsha from Swarna Kala Mandir, Singapore, was truly special. Swarna's expertise and passion for the arts brought a unique energy to our performance. Joining us were her talented student, Ritika, and Shabin Bright from Nrithyashanthi Fine Arts, along with his student, Madhurima. And also with divyanjali senior students upanisha, aventhi, Krishna Priya Their contributions enriched our presentation and created a vibrant atmosphere that resonated with the audience.

Gajalakshmi, my senior student, whose supported us in vocal. our performance to new heights, supported by a fantastic orchestra team. The synergy between dancers and musicians was palpable, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone present.

I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Suraphong Siridhorkul for providing us with this wonderful opportunity. His support and encouragement have played a vital role in our journey over the past 30 years.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing our passion for dance and fostering collaborations that inspire and uplift. Here’s to many more years of artistic growth and success!
