On behalf of Threeentertains I express my deepest condolences to the kayamkulam based theatre troupe Deva Communications that met with an unfortunate mishap when the minibus in which they were travelling overturned in a S bend as they were travelling for a performance to Sultan Batheri. So unfortunate that the troupe lost two of its lady performers and 14 severely injured.

Most of us are into theatre out of our sheer passion. Request that we never throw caution to wind while pursuing this passion.

Time for all of us to support each other and develop a cohesive eco system.

Pray that the departed souls rest in peace.

Threeentertains Profusely thank all who came for our shows Kaatriniley Varum Geetham between 13th Sept 2024 and 16th Sept 2024. Enormous response to our efforts is indeed a motivation. We are conscious that the large part of this interest is due to the personality whom we presented on Stage # M.S. Subbulakshmi!
16th September is M S Amma’s birthday that we celebrated! During this felicitation, we were happy at the resounding applause acknowledging our request to make September 16th as World Carnatic Music day. Carnatic Music deserves this acknowledgement worldwide and which date other than the birthday of M S Amma, the icon of Carnatic Music across the world.

The efforts to promote Carnatic Music started when Sadasivam Sir took efforts cto circulate the notes of what she rendered to the western audience in her United Nations Concert!

On the same day exactly a year ago, we launched our first play Paayum Oli at the Kodai Nadaga Vizha 2023! What a journey it has been!! We received tremendous love and affection from one and all.
While we would have loved to have bagged more awards than the solitary runner up for best supporting artiste, we took solace from the incredible appreciation from many of the true drama patrons and the number of opportunities that we received to present ourselves!
We are now coming with our second production Kaatchi Pizhaigalo which will be staged tomorrow. Request all of you to extend the same support. Sincerely hope to keep you engaged with some meaningful content!!

Am extremely happy to share the stage with veteran performers such as Pothilingam sir, Ramesh Sir and ardent theatre artist Srikrishnan. Extremely privileged to have outstanding and proven performers in Lavanya Venugopal and LaLalitha Narasimhan. Apart from all these, it is always special to have someone young and inspiring from your own profession with a passion for theatre - Advocate Rakshaa!!! So much to learn from each one of them. Hats off to each one of you!!!

KAATCHI PIZHAIGALO

Human life has always been an intriguing one;
In a journey that has more shades of grey
Being black and white is nothing but falling prey
to the other man’s judgement, opinion and sermon.

This world is beyond what meets your eye;
Where vision is associated to eye and not mind.
Only if this myth is busted, we all can be home and dry.
Else, with eyes wide open we shall only continue to be blind.

It is unfortunate beliefs are formed, not from realization;
And just are forced fit on us by way of dogmatic inculcation.
By construct beliefs here are formed not by conviction
But more out of another man’s prescription and manipulation.

As long as the proof of life is based on other’s dictation;
My Reality shall become figment of some one’s imagination.
What I think I see shall never be what I actually see.
And what I do shall never ever be what is ME!!
