DARBOOCH (meaning water melon in Tamil) is more an emotion for us as a family !! Last year on this day we became parents for the second time with our little Darbooch (little melon )🍋🍉🍉🍉
Since then I have been working on this project of melons , it’s taken me a whole year to sketch , design redesign and re sketch - it’s never easy to zeroing on a project 😀

That also sets the beginning of an official portfolio for me !!

I can’t thank Nikhat of for being my constant inspiration to kick start my journey ❤️❤️❤️Love you loads Nikhat !

Wish me luck in this new journey of designing along with a very demanding and adorable motherhood ❤️❤️❤️

August is extremely special for me , last year around this time me and my husband became parents for the second, and going through the process all over again was magical !!

We had our little watermelon , lovingly called darbooch in Tamil on 15th Aug , and so my august spreads are water melons !!

Created this spread with the little melon on my lap , may not be very creative but it means a whole world to me !!

Back to doodling monochrome alphabets

Flowers make an integral part of spring and bring with them a fresh tone. Embracing the beginning of the flowering season I am looking forward to try all the alphabets. Fingers crossed 🤞
