ഈ കുട്ടിയുടെ പേര് സജീവ്. ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ കിഴക്കേനട സ്കൂളിലെ ഏഴാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയാണ്. സ്കൂൾ മുറ്റത്തു നിന്ന വാകമരം കടപുഴകി വീണപ്പോൾ സ്കൂൾ മുറ്റത്ത് കളിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു സജീവ്. മരം വീണപ്പോൾ ക്ലാസ് മുറിയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒന്നാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ സ്വന്തം ജീവൻ പോലും അവഗണിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനത്തിലൂടെ ഈ കുട്ടി രക്ഷപെടുത്തി. തോളെല്ലിനേറ്റ പരിക്കു പോലും അവഗണിച്ചു കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു സജീവിന്റെ ഈ ഇടപെടൽ.
