When we play a role, we feel it. And this time we felt the pain of LGBT community. We felt how everyday they suffer for no reason.
So Awaaz performed street plays at various places in Chandigarh creating awareness about LGBT community and their rights.

Awaaz steped out and started an initiative for the LGBT community for their equal rights and opportunities.
We received an overwhelming response by people of Chandiland. Even if we are able to change midset of a fraction of people, our mission will be successfull.

To celebrate the spirit of oneness, we did a league of plays at various places in Chandigarh. Our motive was to create awareness among people that we all are same, we all are 'Humans'.

दोस्त,प्यार,भाई और बहन,
इज़्ज़त,क़दर,मेहनत,कला और एकता
सब हैं यहाँ।।
गिरते तो अखते गिरते हैं,
उठेटे हैं तो भी सर उठाकर सारे अखते उठते हैं।।
चलते हैं जब वो आवाज़ की त-शर्ट पहन के
तो शान से चलते हैं,
क्यूँकि जानते हैं
इसमें बस्ती हमारी जान हैं,
और यही हमारी असली पहचान हैं।।
