Artists Minakshi Singh, Sonu Dharnidharka, Assavri Kulkarni and Shilpa Nasnolkar are part of Show of Strength, a collective exhibition that celebrates the vision and creative journeys of women artists from Goa.

Through diverse practices spanning painting and abstract forms, their works offer distinct perspectives on storytelling, material exploration, and contemporary expression. Alongside 30+ women artists, they contribute to a rich, layered narrative that reflects the evolving landscape of art and culture.

Set within the historic spaces of the Aguad Port and Jail Complex, the exhibition fosters a dynamic dialogue between heritage and contemporary practice, where multiple artistic voices engage.

On view until 31st May at Aguad Port & Jail Complex.

Conversations shaped by travel with India Convention Promotion Bureau delegates at Aguad Port and Jail Complex, as a distinguished group of MICE decision-makers visited the space alongside the Department of Tourism and Goa Tourism Development Corporation.

Bringing together Association Heads/Presidents, Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs), Event Management Companies, and Destination Management companies (DMCs), the visit offered an opportunity to experience the facilities firsthand and engage in meaningful interactions—highlighting the potential of Aguad Port & Jail Complex as a dynamic venue within India’s growing MICE landscape.

Show of Strength opened to an evening shaped by art, conversation, and community at the Aguad Port & Jail Complex. Within its historic walls, the exhibition revealed a compelling collection of works by over 30 women artists based in Goa, drawing audiences into an engaging and immersive experience.

Through the course of the evening, guests moved between artworks and conversations, connecting with artists and curator Samira Sheth, creating a shared space of reflection and creative energy.

As the evening eased into a memorable night, guests engaged in thoughtful conversations, explored the works, and shared moments with artists and curator Samira Sheth, capturing the spirit of the exhibition through connection, dialogue, and creative exchange.
