Sharing today two works of two in a good way, contrasting minds both products of the Goa College of Art ,being Exhibited in a thought provoking International showcase ,titled " Artists and a World in Turmoil" now on at Art Chamber- Galeria de Belas Artes here in Calangute.
Hanuman Kambli and Francis De Sousa.
Kambli the soft spoken former head of the Printmaking department at our Alma mater , excecutes his work in a meticulous way and takes you deep in thought while in Contrast the work of the always colourful expressive and free wheeling Francis DeSouza is an open book, easy to read,gel with and react.
The Exhibition with a strong representation of 42 established Proffessionals from World over goes on to 31st May 2026.
Timings: Daily 11am to 8pm
(Break 1pm to 3pm

Join us for At the Edge of the Volcano, an original English play developed by Dnyanesh Moghe, based on the life and artistic journey of renowned Goan artist Vamona Sinai Navelcar.

Spanning his travels across Asia, Europe, and Africa, the play reflects on Navelcar’s personal struggles, creative resilience, and the socio-cultural contexts that shaped his practice. Originally conceptualised by playwright Dr. Isabel de Santa Rita Vas, the work brings together archival research and storytelling to explore the emotional and historical landscapes of art-making in Goa.
