Bhubaneswar Poetry Club is an initiative by a bunch of poets from diff

erent parts of Bhubaneswar who want to be heard. Want to step up to the microphone and spray the crowd with a torrent of fluid stories about life, half-baked love, stand-up comedies and heart-broken tales? You have heard Sarah Kay reciting love letters, "From a toothbrush to a bicycle tyre", you have found yourself lost in the performance poems of Desiree Dallagiacomo and Blythe Baird, you have sighed at Stockon's poetry slam's "Just friends" and randomly giggled pointlessly at Rudy Francisco's "The first time you said Hello". Greetings!

After a long wait, Bhubaneswar Poetry Club is back with Ars Poetica, our most popular offline Open Mic event, an event filled with fun, laughter and poetry. Join us while we celebrate poetry, meeting and listening to wonderful poets and performing your own piece too.

"Inner Alchemy" is designed as a poetry open mic as we invite individuals to explore their inner world and the transformative power within. It encourages self-reflection, growth, and the pursuit of personal balance and harmony. Through poetry, participants can express their journey of self-discovery, resilience, and the process of turning challenges into opportunities for growth. The theme resonates with the current mental wellbeing of individuals around us, as it speaks to their experiences of navigating identity, emotions, and the complexities of modern life, offering a space for introspection and self-expression.
