Tomorrow marks the grand celebration of the annual Kadambini Literary Festival, a testament to over 25 years of our commitment to promoting literature, art, and culture. This festival gathers over 5,000 literary enthusiasts, scholars, and artists from every corner of Odisha, making it a truly vibrant and enriching experience.

The event will feature discussions and seminars with more than 10 eminent literary personalities from across India, culminating in the prestigious Nilimarani Sahitya Samanna. This year, the honour, along with a prize of ₹10 lakh, will be bestowed upon Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay for his exceptional contribution to literature.

The highlight of the festival is the ‘Patrika Haata’ (Newspaper Market), a unique platform showcasing the diversity and richness of Odisha’s literary landscape. This festival is not just an event but a celebration of the enduring power of words and creativity. Looking forward to an inspiring day!

For the first time in history, Odisha proudly hosts the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas from 8th to 10th January 2025—a matter of immense pride and prestige for every Odia. This landmark event is an opportunity for global exposure and a moment to showcase the rich heritage and hospitality of our state.

My heartfelt gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for choosing Odisha as the venue for this prestigious event.
