Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great!
While I share the paintings from my new series of a commissioned project, I'm glad that it has a story that needs to be told and I'm sure that most of us are unaware of it.
" Momo" the most popular street food by the date, has it's roots back in the Eastern Han Dynasty (216BC-220 AD).As legend tells it, it was a difficult winter, and many were experiencing ill effects from the cold. To help people cope with frostbite, Zhang Zhongjing, a Chinese practitioner, took mutton, herbs, and chilis and wrapped them in dough, then steamed them to bind everything together and keep them warm. These steaming, pillow-like treats helped people overcome the cold weather, while the herbs that Zhongjing put inside worked to improve blood circulation and prevent frostbite.
The next painting of the series would surf you through the story ahead. Stay tuned!
