ଆଜିର ସାମ୍ବାଦିକତା ଉପରେ ଆଧାରିତ ଏହି ବ୍ୟଙ୍ଗ କବିତାଟି ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ଏକ ଶାଣିତ ଓ ହାସ୍ୟରସାତ୍ମକ ରୂପେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରେ। ସମାଜର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ କୁହାଯାଉଥିବା ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ଆଜି ସତ୍ୟ, ନିରପେକ୍ଷତା ଓ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ମୂଳ ସମସ୍ୟାକୁ ପଛରେ ପକାଇ ଦେଇଛି। ଏହା କେବଳ ଟିଆରପି (TRP), ଚମକଦାର ହେଡଲାଇନ୍ ଏବଂ ଅଯଥା ଚିତ୍କାର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସୀମିତ ହୋଇ ରହିଯାଇଛି। ଖବର ପ୍ରସାରଣ ନାମରେ ଚାଲିଥିବା ନାଟକବାଜି ଏବଂ ମନଗଢ଼ା କାହାଣୀକୁ ଏହି କବିତାରେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ବିବେକକୁ ବିକ୍ରି କରି ଅତିରଞ୍ଜିତ ଖବର ପରିବେଷଣ କରୁଥିବା ଆଧୁନିକ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକତାର ଅବକ୍ଷୟକୁ ଏହି କବିତାଟି ଅତି ସୁନ୍ଦର ଭାବେ ଦର୍ଶାଏ। ଏହା ପାଠକଙ୍କୁ ହସାଇବା ସହ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ବାସ୍ତବତା ଉପରେ ଚିନ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ୟ କରେ।
