Painting exhibition 'MAA' a heartbeat of every home.❤️
I have depicted in this painting an artist mother who, while painting, is breastfeeding her child and gently putting the baby to sleep in her lap—showing how she balances her identity as a creator and her responsibilities at home.
This painting is inspired by Jagadamba Devi from Bihar, who was herself a Mithila artist. She created a strong identity through her art and was honored with the Padma Shri in 1945.
