Hello,

We have an important update 🤍

As you may know, creativity thrives on moments of pause and renewal. Each year around this time, we temporarily close our studio so our team can rest, travel, reconnect with loved ones, and deepen their craft by exploring pottery practices in other studios.

This period also allows me, as the founder, to reflect, plan for the months ahead, learn from your feedback, and gather inspiration through my travels—bringing it all back into the studio.

Our studio will reopen on June 1, and we look forward to welcoming you back then.

In the meantime, registrations are open for:
• 1-month and 2-month wheel throwing programs (batches starting July 3)
• Short-term programs: 5-day and 10-day courses

Hi, I’m Nikita- the founder of NISO Pottery and I have some beautiful news to share. ✨

I recently married my best friend, Sohan. NISO, in fact, comes from our initials- a reflection of how deeply our lives and journeys are intertwined. While Sohan is the founder of Melsh Sports , we’ve always supported each other’s work - he in my pottery studio, and I in his world of sports travel. 🌻

Our wedding was a true reflection of our values -intimate, eco-conscious, and rooted in love, intention, and home. 🏡🌳

We got married at my family farm in Madhya Pradesh, beneath an ancient Mahua tree, surrounded by loved ones and nature. With hand-painted invites, farm-to-table food, folk music, and over 2,000 saplings planted, every detail was deeply personal and meaningful. 🌸

In a time of grand, big-fat Indian weddings, we chose something quieter - a cosy, beautiful celebration at our farm, lovingly nurtured by my parents over the years. Without planners, every detail was envisioned and brought to life by Sohan, my parents, and me. 💫

Between cricket fields and pottery wheels, our journey quietly led us home. 🏺🏏

Hello, I’m Nikita- the founder of NISO Pottery 🐢

Our turtle logo has always been close to my heart, inspired by the beautiful Olive Ridley turtles that nest along the beaches of South Goa.

While in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 for work, I took a little detour to visit a turtle rescue and hatchery — and it was nothing short of magical. From Olive Ridleys to Loggerheads and Hawksbills, seeing these incredible creatures up close was a humbling experience.

What truly stood out was how thoughtfully Sri Lanka is working towards protecting them — promoting turtle hatcheries, creating awareness, and giving these gentle beings a better chance at life 🌊🐢

Moments like these remind me why our symbol means so much more than design — it’s about connection, conservation, and respect for nature.
