হৃদয়ে তাঁর শান্তি নামে,
যখন দেখে সকালবেলায় —
স্ত্রীটি হাসে, মা-বাবা তার
আলোর মতো ঘরে খেলে যায়।

শ্যালিকা তার গানে মেতে,
চা আর গল্পে ভরে ওঠে দিন,
এ যেন সুখের এক রঙিন ছবি,
যা দেখে মুছে যায় সব চিন।

কোনো ধন না চায় সে আর,
এই ভালোবাসাই অমূল্য ধন,
এক ছাদের তলে হোক সুখের ঘর,
এটাই তো জীবনের মূল কল্পন।
