UMA Sangeet Pratishthan was established and is run by solely Mrs. The name UMA was named after in the memory of her Mother late Smt. Uma I Kagatikar,

With an intention to train children in Hindustani music, this music school extended its activity to
1. Teach Devotional sangeet,
2. Teach Sugama sangeet,
3. Develop stage courage to all the students,
4. Collaborate with dance teachers and

identify children's hidden talent like dancing,
anchoring programmes, mono acting etc.,
5. Organize Thingala Gana Sudhe every month
through which designed to reach
Orphanages in and around Belagavi city and
hence involving in social activities.
