This documentary is our labour of love for a beloved production which brings life and purpose to so many lives in our small city. It is not just a performance, but a place which feels like home and so many stories have unfolded here which made us who we are today. Here's a glimpse of some of those stories and the most oldest story of all, the struggle of making a successful theatre production.

We hope that this documentary will cross boundaries and make people across the world curious about our Ramleela and if you ever get the chance to experience it in person, do not miss that chance.

It's impossible for an audience member to see themselves when they are enjoying a performance and it is again impossible for the performer to focus on the audience while performing. So we decided to capture those rare moments of joy where the audience connects with performance and the performer in front of them on the stage.

In times of conflict and crisis, Ram has always done what's right for the betterment of the world. The philosophy of Ramayan is rooted in the unity of all and that's why even when the internet was down for the last 48hours, our Windermere Ki Ramleela brought everyone together and weaved a space for celebration, prayer and self-reflection.
