When she heard the theme “The Child Within,” she didn’t think of a playground.

She thought of a newly built house, an almost-empty kitchen, questions she was too young to be asking, and a childhood that quietly learned what it meant to worry.

Years later, that little girl has grown into a woman who can stand on her own.

Some childhoods are remembered through toys and games. Some are remembered through the things we had to learn too early.

Last Sunday was nothing short of a beautiful nostalgia trip

Our theme, “The Child Within,” worked like a time machine, taking every artist back to their golden days, childhood memories, innocent dreams, and the little joys that shaped them.
The smiles, emotions, laughter, and stories were proof of the beautiful connection we shared at Poets of Bangalore. It was an evening of memories, emotions, and rediscovering the child within us.

Here is to many more meet-ups, many more stories, and many more journeys down memory lane.
