GIRIJA KALYANA

This year, on the occassion of our school's 23rd Anniversary, Senior Students of Spoorthy School of Dance will be presenting a thematic production titled "Girija Kalyana."

Come join us on this blissful occasion, and witness the sacred union of Shiva and Shakti. It will be an evening filled with joyous dance, melodious music and divine happiness.

Venue: JSS Auditorium

P.S.: We encourage you to dress up in Indian traditional clothes preferably *green* in colour to represent auspiciousness, harmony and prosperity.

It is our utmost pleasure to announce that the second batch of students have completed a 5-day workshop with Guru Smt. Sheela Chandrasekhar!!
The participants have not only learnt a wonderful piece of choreography from one of the stalwarts in this art field but have had life-changing conversations, experiences and moments that will be etched in their memories for years to come.
This marks the end of our workshop series with Sheela akka, and we have nothing but gratitude and joy to take home with us. Thank you is truly an understatement akka. We all are eternally grateful to you for giving us your time and wisdom, and we look forward to many more such opportunities to learn from you.

A dream took its first steps onto the stage...
UPAKRAMA was not just a performance; it was a moment of courage, unity, and devotion. For many of our little dancers, this was their very first time under the lights—and they shone with the grace of their Guru's teachings and the strength of their togetherness.

What made this evening truly special was the love that surrounded it: the unwavering encouragement from our students’ families, the silent prayers from backstage, and the divine blessings that held us all in embrace.

From the tiniest mudras to the biggest smiles, every second was a celebration of beginnings—and we are so grateful to share this moment with all of you.

With folded hands and full hearts, we thank each soul who stood with us. This is just the beginning… and what a beautiful one it is.
