Katha Corner

Katha Corner Welcome to Katha Corner
"You can discover more about a person in a hour of PLAY than in a year of CONVERSATION" - Plato of psychology, Bangalore University.

Katha Corner was started as a dream project by two friends Ramya Srinidhi and Sneha Kappanna. A dream that has touched many young lives through stories and theatre. Started in 2014 it operates as an experiential learning programme for kids. Present day schools excel in transfer of knowledge but a lacuna is evident in social skills. Through theatre they hope to bridge this gap. Here they get to lea

rn about culture, art and life itself through stories and theatre. Attitude, bonding, empathy are molded in this process. Both the founders are from a Psychology background and have over 15 years of experience in the field of Theatre. The programmes are planned keeping in view the tenants of child psychology, leading to optimizing the personal growth and experience for the children. Each programme is theme based and molded around a core concept that kids get to experience. Being in a mixed group the kids get to interact with kids from different age groups and backgrounds, thus building up their social skills set. Katha Corner firmly believes in their tag line “Explore theatre discover yourself”

Sneha Kappanna Ramya Srinidhi

The fair, organized by NBT India under the Ministry of Education and co-organized by ITPO, concluded on January 18 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan — marking its 53rd edition and standing proud as the world’s largest B2C book fair.

We brought alive a bunch of funtastic stories with props, music, costumes, and colourful characters — and the little ones loved every bit of it

Here’s to more stories, more smiles, and more magical moments.
