I had been learning Tabla from past 27+ years and still in pursuit of learning from internationally renowned Tabla exponent and Maestro my Guru Pt. Myself a B-high grade artiste from All India Radio
and Doordarshan - Bangalore, have studied Batchelor of Science (B.Sc) in electronics and Computer science (Bangalore Unviersity) and Master Graduate (M.A) in Tabla (KSGH University). of Karnataka) and Sangeet Visharad exams (Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya). As a professional performing artiste i had been performing tabla solo and tabla accompaniment on many prestigious platforms and with many senior artiste’s and youngsters like myself. Have won prestigious National and State competitions and been awarded a few awards as well. Also i have the experience of teaching Tabla for more than 15 years now, catering to all age groups from 5 to 60+, also i do online (both domestic and foreign) and offline classes (preferably at my place or at students home as well considering the respective fee). also i have the experience of working in music schools and NGO but predominantly for individuals who are enthusiastic in learning the art form. Also i have my own school under the name TABLA GURUKUL, which conducts bhaitaks (private interactive performing sessions with guru, students and that community) once every 3 months, a Gurupurnima once every year where students get to perform and also here the performance of fellow Gurubhandus (classmates) and the Guest artistes from outside as well. looking forward to catch up with interested people soon.
