On this sacred occasion of Ram Navami and World Theatre Day, warm wishes from our Aashram Mandalee.

What a beautiful coincidence celebrating Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram and the transformative power of theatre on the same day. One represents the highest ideals of life, and the other, a medium to bring those ideals alive.

Our journey in theatre has been deeply fulfilling. From performing many local plays to creating something truly close to our hearts “Ram Lala Ki Mata… Story Revisited”this has been more than just a production; it has been an emotional and spiritual offering.

Started nearly 9 years ago, we have completed 56 shows, and the journey continues.. thousands more to come..

This play brings to life the powerful and often unheard perspectives of the mothers of the Ramayana—Kaikeyi, Kaushalya, and Manthara—portraying their emotions, dilemmas, and depth beyond the conventional narrative.

A heartfelt thank you to our entire cast and team whose dedication keeps this story alive. And immense gratitude to our audiences for your love, encouragement, and connection with our work.

We look forward to coming back soon with more performances and sharing this journey with many more hearts.

जयंती विशेष : काका हाथरसी ने हास्य को साहित्य में दिलाई अलग पहचान.
हिंदी हास्य व्यंग काव्य का परचम फहराने वाले श्रेष्ठ व्यंगकार व हास्य सम्राट ‘काका हाथरसी’ का आज जन्मदिन है। हाथरस नगर के जैन गली मोहल्ले में एक अग्रवाल परिवार में 18 सितंबर 1906 को जन्मे काका हाथरसी ने हिंदी हास्य कवि के रूप तो अपनी ख्याति अर्जित की ही, साथ ही अपनी प्रतिभा से विश्व में हिंदी की पताका फहराई और अपने हाथरस का नाम भी विश्व में रोशन किया। 18 सितंबर को 1995 को उनका निधन हो गया।

Huzaifa Pandit is the author of ‘‘Green is the Colour of Memory’ which won the first edition of Rhythm Divine Poets Chapbook Contest 2017. His poems talk about despair, defiance, resistance and compliance.

Shalim M. Hussain’s Miyah poetry provides the metaphorical loudspeaker to the long-ignored voices of the Bengali-Muslim migrants living in the riverine plains of the Brahmaputra by documenting their stories of love, loss, celebration and injustice.

Khaleel Mamoon received Sahitya Akademi Award for his poetry collection Aafaq Ki Taraf in 2011; Rajyostav Award by the Government Of Karnataka; Lifetime Achievement Award by the Karnataka Academy and much more.

Sanket Mhatre is an award-winning lyricist and Marathi poet. He's the creator and curator of Crossover Poems that brings multilingual poets together. Also the director of YouTube Channel 'Kavita Cafe' that fuses cinema & poetry, he is the first Marathi poet to represent the language at Jaipur Litfest and Vagdevi Festival.
