KathaKonnect, a Kathak dance school based in Bangalore, affiliated to internationally reputed dance board ISTD, London, aims to reach out and connect with the community in order to increase awareness and appreciation of the Indian Classical Dance form of Kathak. KathaKonnect tries to achieve this in a variety of ways some of which include conducting Kathak classes for children and adults of varyin

g talents, ages and schedules; providing easy means to document Kathak lessons; conducting Kathak Appreciation Workshops for children and adults which use modern teaching aids, techniques as well as fun filled activities all aiming to make the understanding and appreciation of Kathak an enjoyable experience; encouraging Kathak learners to develop observation and appreciation skills.
