All About Love - Acrylic on Canvas ! Btw did you guys miss me?
I know, I was incognito for a while - alright, yeah may be a year I guess! ☺️

But I really missed all of you folks! & I’m so glad to be back again!

So many things happened in my life-
Main reason to quit all social media is : We moved out - shifted from Bangalore to Chennai. And , you know how it is with shifting, getting the new house done, kids school admission, stabilising office work, it’s never ending! And it’s still going on.. :)

And I conveniently kept postponing resuming Insta as I have gotten quiet used to being without camera, no one to monitor, no pressure to paint with content creation in mind- I guess I started enjoying that routine a lot.

Still, I know I can’t be away for long. I had to restart someday! And it’s here. I’m currently occupied with corporate training as well but i wanted to tick off Insta some how! So here I’m .. !

Long post!

Missing this one!

This was one of my favourite piece that I did till today. One of the acrylic paintings that I did on canvas paper when I tried to switch from my Watercolour mode to Acrylics .

But why am I missing it ? -
Something that I wanted to share with you all -
This was the first painting that I sold in the IAF Art exhibition. When I exhibited , many told this will be sold first - it did happen. ☺️

I’m really not into selling my art - if there’s any income from my art - it’s usually from my courses & classes. I have this strange thing with selling my artwork- at some point through the process of creation, I get attached to it , never wanting to depart. (Yet, I have gifted lot of my paintings but never was willing to sell my art)

Then one day when I was having an in person chat with an eminent celebrity artist whom I adore, I asked him about this attachment - he told something that I would never ever forget -

“Your art is with someone who loves it yet can’t create one for themselves & Even when you give it away - you are the creator, you can always create another one !”

Now this stayed with me & I guess I have now a different perspective to my art - though it’s my baby, it might be great with someone else who love & value instead of collecting dust in my shelves !

And so, now most of the paintings that you see here are for sale ✨- no commission as such for now - message me if you think you have a place for it at your home!
