What you saw on stage was only the final moment.

What shaped Beyond The Land of Hattamala were weeks of rehearsal — of unlearning, listening, negotiating space, and learning how to arrive together. The process asked these young theatre-makers to slow down, trust one another, and choose collaboration over certainty.

For the senior students of the BTC - PCPA Thespians Weekend Theatre Certificate Course, this journey became an act of connection — with the text, the ensemble, and themselves.

Under the direction of Yashaswini Nachappa, the rehearsal room became a place of courage, care, and collective imagination.

Storytelling as a Leadership Skill | Corporate Learning through Theatre

The Bangalore Theatre Company recently conducted a specially curated workshop on The Art of Storytelling for the senior employees of Samsung R&D.

Designed as an experiential learning session, the workshop explored how storytelling enhances communication, empathy, leadership presence, and team connection—using tools drawn from theatre, movement, voice, and narrative structure.

Our PCPA Campus senior batch Thespians have been diving deep into the art of Mime as part of their 2nd month Weekend Theatre Certificate Course.
Every gesture, every pause, and every expression is shaping their understanding of storytelling without words 🌟

From practice to performance, these young artists are discovering how silence can speak volumes 🙌

🔥 Power. Grace. Discipline. 🔥

Our talented students at BTC Whitefield Campus showcased their learnings from the Kalaripayattu sessions with an energetic and powerful demonstration! 💪⚡

As part of the first month of the Thespians Weekend Theatre Certificate Course, the kids were introduced to Kalaripayattu — the ancient Indian martial art known as the mother of all martial arts. 🥋🌿

They were trained and disciplined under Sudarshan Sir, a Guinness World Record holder in Kalaripayattu, whose expertise and energy brought intensity, precision, and grace to the training. 🏆🔥

Through this powerful form, students explored the connection between body and breath, building strength, focus, and body awareness — essential tools for both life and theatre. 🎭✨

So proud of their journey! 💥
