Two sisters, both in their 60s and unmarried, are running a home stay in a 100-year-old bungalow in Halasuru of old Bengaluru, a property they have inherited from their long-deceased father, an amateur practitioner of native medicine who had enjoyed a following in his heyday. The sisters now run it like a friendly homestay.

Their nephew discovers that his “well-intentioned” aunts are “extending” their warmth and hospitality to some of the guests at the homestay, especially the old and the lonely, with a bizarre intent. A second nephew turns up with a plastic surgeon and a dead body, even with the presence of the friendly local police, causing conflicts and mix-ups, which lead to a hilarious turn of events.

Dr. S. L. Bhyrappa passes on. An extraordinary writer, whose works left an indelible mark on the 'Indian' thinker. He provoked thought, challenging conventions and sparked deep philosophical conversations. Today, as we reflect on his legacy, we will choose to celebrate his literary works in the ways we can.

Parva, is perhaps one of Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa's most monumental works and we feel grateful and blessed that we were able to perform to a full house audience amongst which he sat and watched the entire play, only a few months ago.

Bhyrappa Sir, forever grateful to you 🙏 May you continue to inspire many more minds through the works you've left with us.

We are excited to be opening the Chiguru Kannada Theatre Festival at PCPA, this March!

Come watch our new production EDABIDANGI [Torn-in-between] : This is a story, set in the corporate world, a world of greed, deceit and spiritual faith, too! Randy, the entrepreneur with a product in the making, is encouraged by his pious wife to seek finance for his venture through her guru, Chandi Swami. Enters upright Arjun, tasked with the building of a financial model that could convince two investors, both devotees of the Swami, to fund Randy's dream project. Racing against time, the characters get into absurd conflicts, tearing them inside and apart.
