On this International Dance Day, we are reminded that dance is not merely movement—it is memory, resistance, celebration, and continuity. In a world that is increasingly fragmented, hurried, and digitised, art remains one of the few spaces where humanity still gathers without borders.
From the ghungroos that echo centuries of storytelling in India, to the grounded pulse of African rhythms, the fluid grace of ballet, the fire of flamenco, the rebellion of hip hop, and the sacred spirals of Sufi movement—every form carries a world within it. And yet, here they coexist, layered like lived experiences, reminding us that no culture exists in isolation.
NRITYAANGAN DANCEFLOOR Wishing everyone a very happy and joyous International Dance Day!
