My respected Guruji Dr. C.Radhakrishna passed away today morning. As a legendary nattuvanar of Kolar parampara, he has left behind a worthy legacy after his relentless work of 85 years. We tend to find good teachers but it is very hard to find a Dedicated Guru who has sacrificed his entire life for dance and to preserve this divine artform. At the age of 91 while he was admitted in the ICU he taught the extremely hard and well crafted piece "Chitra Natya". Until his last days his passion for teaching Nritya ( dance ) never stopped and I personally could witness how much he craved to teach us. It is a great loss to our country, we have lost a great Artist today. May his aatma find "Shanti".
