Mahi is our young star! She has been learning Carnatic classical music under the guidance of Vid. Amruta Venkatesh for many years. She has had the honour of singing with her Guru and other students at the Swathi Sangeetotsavam 2019 in Thiruvananthapuram. She has won the Guruguhamruta Tambura prize in the sub-junior category. She has also been learning Bharatanatyam at Nupura, under the tutelage of Dr. Lalitha Srinivasan. Mahi is fortunate to be born into a family of rich literature and music. She is the great great grand-daughter of Dr. Masti Venkatesh Iyengar. Other than music and dance, Mahi is also very interested in arts and theatre.

Mahi and kids like her involved in the arts do very well academically as well. The practice of the arts builds discipline, concentration and accountability
