Theatre workshop for Men exploring masculinity and what it is to be a man in todays world. Exploring society’s long maintained stereotypes & expectations about gender and their roles. Collective exploration with individual assimilations of what it is and means to be a man in today’s world with all the societal pressures to rigid expectations. Questioning constructs and beliefs. Redefining masculinity. Identifying the male aspects that gets overlooked in the discourse on gender equality.

This workshop is exclusively for girls and young women.
It is a collective exploration into the individual sense of control that women girls feel in their lives through theatre and indigenous folklore.

The objective is to
• Create a safe space for girls and young women to discover and build conviction in their emotional, intellectual & physical capacity to influence their own thoughts, behaviour, actions & decisions.
• Explore indigenous cultures and role of women, power, agency and knowledge – what we can learn?
• Become aware of what is informed decision making for overall physical & mental health.
• Explore and discover our own means and ways to claiming personal agency in order to intrinsically bring autonomy to our lives.
