A few decades back, a student would have to take great efforts to learn masterpieces from the masters. Last weekend, we were glad to be in the present, where students had a great opportunity to learn masterpieces like Shree Vishwanatham, the chaturdasa ragamalika of Shri Muttuswami Diksh*tar and the rare Kalyani varnam of Shri Shyama Shastri, Neeve gati from Chitravina Ravikiran Sir through the initiative of Pratidhwani Music and Acharyanet.

Masterpieces of Shri Swati Tirunal and Shri Tyagaraja were also covered on Day 1 of this masterclass. Students may still get access to recordings by contacting us.
