AWE Company - Toronto, Canada were responsible to create an Immersive Augmented Reality Experience at Fort York - A Historic Site right in the middle of the city of Toronto.

Moppet Animation Studio was involved in creating the visual experience for this literal walk into History where citizens can relive the bygone era at the site. Time well invested into developing in house tools for this emerging technology.

Here is a snippet of what to expect.

Technology has the potential to change the way we tell stories and even experience the physical world. This new technology - soon to be launching at Fort Yor...

It been a year since our last post.....What were we doing??
After the Stopmotion Production, we had a 15 days much needed break, went for white water rafting and geared up for what was next...Augmented Reality...Yes we love technology as much as Art :)

IT'S A WRAP!!

Finally after 6 months of an awesome Stopmotion Experience we have today wrapped our shoot....12 sets all functioning at the same time was quite a memorable experience.

Thanks to the Animators, Art Department, Lighting & Grip and Vfx crew for making this a successful effort.

Thanks Dennis Jackson, Joel Vanderzwan and David Albiston for working with an untested crew and big thanks to Anand Ramayya for this opportunity and belief in the young, boutique studio. Thanks Gil and we wish you a speedy recovery.

4th Graders had a studio visit today...got to watch stop motion production LIVE!! Amazing questions asked...got to play with puppets and experienced figurine plastic casting from silicon moulds...awesome field trip.
