MISF!T® (My.Interest.Stays.Firmly.In.Theatre) is an acting studio which conducts regular courses/ workshops on acting for the stage and screen, as well as personality enhancement and training programmes for corporates and professional colleges, using theatre as a base. rictions on the medium of communication. Attention to detail and creativity are core concepts inherent in every Misf!t production. Misf!t aims at providing enjoyable and thought-provoking entertainment. Ratan Thakore Grant is the founder and president of this group MISF!T. Announcing our next level 1 Acting workshop. Details of the Workshop are below. Please read.

- This will be a 6-weekend in-person workshop from June 27th, 2026 to Aug 2nd, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday 11 am-6 pm.

- Please Note: The 1st round of Interviews and Registrations are happening on the 14th of June, 2026. The 2nd round is subject, only to the availability of seats.

Venue: MISF!T Studio, Top floor, 11, 5th Cross Rd, above Royal Oak Spa, KHB Colony, 6th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560095

Syllabus:

Level 1 is the foundation course that aims to bring out the fun of acting, make participants shed their inhibitions, and teach them stagecraft, pantomime, and character-building. It is also for people with or without any background in acting. The objective is to make them as natural as possible.

The course is unique because it focuses on bringing out the originality, creativity, and attention to detail in the actor, by letting the actor create their very own concepts and execute these, in the form of numerous short plays, during the course of the training.

The Syllabus includes:

Breaking Inhibitions: getting people comfortable to act, in front of an audience.
Actor’s Magic – A unique concept.
Characterization.
Voice: Understanding the components, and projection of voice.
Observation.
Listening Skills.
Pantomime.
Improvisation.
Scene Creation and Character Creation.
Script Creation.
Fine-tuning of Theatre Craft.
Adapting to the Camera – Fundamentals.
Duration of the course: 75 hours including the grading.
