Due to the unprecedented pandemic, Ethnic Day 2020 was hosted on a virtual platform on the 9th of April, 2020 garnering huge participation.
The Instagram competition also saw ample participation and was rooted in the celebration of identities.
The results of the Ethnic Day Instagram Competition was announced on the 10th of April, 2020.

Greetings All.

As you are all aware, the Highlight Event of the Performing Arts Club is the ETHNIC DAY, wherein we celebrate talents, tradition, identities and uphold the true meaning of unity in diversity.

Even though we are all currently under lock-down, we can still uphold the spirit of Ethnic Day.

In these testing times, social media has taken Centre Stage and what the Performing Arts Club does best is bring the Stage to you.

On the 9th of April, 2020 (Thursday), we kindly request each one of you to:

1) Post a picture of yourself in Ethnic Wear on your story and describe it briefly.

2) Tag both our social media handles ( and .cmrusols).

3) The same will be re- shared on our official handles.

4) The Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female will be announced at the end of the day.

One of the major goals of Tramedy is to use the medium of theatre and drama as a platform to spread legal awareness, entwining our careers and passions for a greater good.

This is from our flagship event of the previous semester. Cleanliness Awareness Skit on the 14th of October, 2019.

A huge thank you to our faculty and students for encouraging us. To the representatives for helping organize it, including our comrades and constant support team, Nirmiti. To all the participating members of Tramedy, Kudos to you, your hard work and ever steady energy, brought the intended message loud and clear.

🎥🎬 SHORT FILM FESTIVAL - IRIDESCENT 🎥🎬 In honour of the visionary filmmaker Shri Satyajit Ray, the Performing Arts Club (.cmrusols ) has curated a Short Film making competition to be held on the 2nd of May (Thursday) celebrating the life, legacy and inspiration that is Satyajit Ray, paving the way for artistic creativity and spearheading a younger generation of film makers.

EVENT RULES:

1) Team and solo event. No maximum number of participants

2) (Open theme)
3) Films should be in the standard video format (mp4, etc)

4) Film can be in English, Hindi or Regional Languages.

5) English subtitles required

6) Music can be original, however licensed music can be used only with the source mentioned.
7) Time limit - 20 mins max (inclusive of credits)

8) The film must not target or hurt the sentiments of any particular community

9) No vulgarity allowed

10) The film shall be submitted to the organisers on time

11) Failure to comply with any of the above rules will lead to DISQUALIFICATION of the film.

The films should be submitted on the 1st of May, 2019 (Wednesday) to either Adya Bojamma ( ) 3rd year BBA.LLB or Darshana Karian (.karian ) 4th year BBA.LLB before 23:59 hours.

The top three films will be screened on the 2nd of May, 2019 and prizes will be distributed. ( + .cmrusols ) - Performing Arts Club.

Turning off the spotlight on our Cultural Week with Ethnic Day 2019.

A huge thank you to our Dean, Vice Principal, PA Faculty in charge and all the faculty members for supporting us.
Here are a few pics of our beloved faculty shaking a leg or two and being so sporting.

A huge thank you goes out to Jason ( ) and Susanna ( ) for being such wonderful hosts and really livening up the crowd.
We would also like to thank all the students for your support, participation and enthusiasm, making this event a success.
