After my regular visit to my gyno at Jayanagar, it has become a mandatory ritual for me to have idli at Brahmins Cafe here. My doctor , this place , this idli and the chutney , streets of Jayanagar, buying flowers that I never wear from Jayanagar flower market n so on are gonna have some special place in my preggo diaries more than I ever will be able to describe. There is something about this place that always has made me fall in love with it since a decade of me being in the city . And when Shruthi spoke about Shanthi Nursing home and her doctor, I knew for sure that I needed the same doc and this clinic for my entire journey.
So this was today, after belting two idlis (successfully without throwing up.. touchwood).. About the outfit.
Wearing a breezy netted skirt with a deep blue crop top. Hair tied into a bun, and my bathroom slippers cos I got no better flip-flops.. And a street store sourced bag to hold water bottle, papers and other random things .. @ Jayanagar, Bengaluru

Classy n sassy... Wearing saree with no petticoat on a dreading summer day especially with your growing tummy can be such a liberating feeling. So this is how I wore my saree when I wanted to ditch my saree petticoat for my brother's wedding event. Like every state has some peculiar style in draping the saree based on the weather, this style is a speciality of Karnataka state. It is called Olakachhai Drape. Mostly worn by Brahmin women of the region. There are many other style of saree draping found in the state. I wish to create a look for all those drapes in the coming days. For now if you like this look, the details about the whole look are listed below.
Saree Length: 5.5meters ( The drape can be achieved in any running fabric of length between 5meters to 6meters)
Saree type: Ilkal saree in pure silk. (Powerloom)
Saree Source: Kempannavar Silks and Sarees, Dharwad

Drape Style : Karnataka style, Olakachhai drape. Mostly worn by the Brahmin ladies of the region

DAY 2 :

AJANTA CAVES , AURANGABAD.

Visited the magnificent Ajanta caves after riding nearly 110kilometers, through the muddy broken road that connects Aurangabad to Ajanta. The journey was awfully bad but the destination was all worth it. The beautiful rockcut caves and finest paintings that have survived through thousands and thousands of years.
