Fam. We officially launched the sxene 2.0 last Saturday, 2nd November in an exclusive event with LBB, Bangalore at the rustic co-working space TheBohemianhouse

To set the tone, we had RECK artists Andrew Sabu and Micah Vidyasagar playing unplugged sets of their fresh, unreleased music, followed by a much-needed open discussion about the music scene in Bangalore and its associated sub-cultures, and finally an exclusive low-down of what’s going to unfold on the 9th. 🔥

Ramya Pothuri is a 23 year old self-taught, singer-songwriter based in Mumbai whose music ranges from a folk and R&B blend to neo-soul.
Her signature is instantly recognizable through her pairing of delicately modulated singing and melodic, nuanced guitar playing. Ever since she moved from St. Louis, Ramya has been writing her own music and has performed across various venues and festivals such as the NCPA, Todi Mill Social, New Wave Asia, Contol Alt Delete 10, as well as The Lil Flea and The Little Gig Escape.

She released her first independent EP titled "We Never Left" on August 24th 2016.

Come get hit in the feels during her set at the sxene 2.0 along with bass maverick Yohann Coutinho on the 9th of November! 💫

South Indian rapper Sooraj a.k.a HanuMankind has been steadily captivating audiences with his deft verses and eruptive stage presence.

Raised in Texas and currently based in Bangalore, his credits list performances all over Bangalore at staple venues such as The Humming Tree, Foxtrot and Fandom (at Gilly's Redefined), following his cruise to victory at the Saavn AO Rap Competition in 2018.

chrms is the alias of Mumbai based electronic producer Veer Kowli.

Pegged as one of India’s finest musical prodigies, he‘s been experimenting with design, film and music since the age of 9 and has gained an understanding of production that’s resulted in fresh soundscapes never heard before. They merge indie dream-pop with several sub-genres of electronic music without restriction.

His vibe can vary from super lush, chill and ethereal, to bass heavy and percussive. w/ KRUNK

DCF_Shapes is one of the few live electronica bands in the country that blur the boundaries between high-art and genre-bending club bangers.
They’ve been pushing the boundaries of independent music in India for years, exploring themes in DnB, Funk, Hip-Hop, RnB and Electronica. All of this fuses to create tasteful compositions that are founded on juicy grooves and improvised musical interactions that make their set organic and funky. 🔥

In simple terms, the sxene™ is gigs on steroids - run by Bangalore based media company and creative agency RECK.

In BLR, on the 17th of November, at Holystoked's ‘The Cave,' our CXREW put together India’s first concert at a skatepark, in association with OnePlus, Vans, and Vh1.

the sxene consists of multiple collectives coming together to celebrate culture and community with music, skating, hip-hop, streetwear, punk, and everything in between.

We got tats, skated, grafittied, danced, moshed, stage-dived, and crowdsurfed. T’was a riot.
