✴️Workshop Alert✴️

After having multiple beginner workshops, I'm conducting an Advanced Warli workshop specially designed for people who can commit time during the weekend :)

Will be covering as many elements of the art form to ensure anyone who attends the workshop can get a good grip on Warli art and be confident to create paintings of their own :D

Workshop dates : 10th & 11th July, 2021

It is so overwhelming to see my students already creating wonderful paintings & wall paintings using everything they learnt during the Intro and Advanced Warli workshops ❤️

From eight year old kids to 60 year olds who were equally excited, eager and fun loving!

Every student brought their own flavour of creativity to the online workshops and it was enthralling to explore all of that and more :)

Why did the student divide Sin by Tan?

A: Just Cos (PJ? :p)

But that's exactly the story behind this customised pen stand which was painted recently for a student who 'just LOVES Mathematics' for no reason! She is a math wizard & adores numbers. That's right, a number cruncher & a book worm -what a deadly combo, haha!

It was hard not to remember those terrible math grades in school while painting this pen stand😢

But hey, all is cool when it's just a warli painting 🎨🖌️

Heard a podcast today -Against the Odds by & Vidhi (my inspiration ) where they talked about how important it is to surround yourself with things that inspire you - not only people but also things!

One of our customers got this customised pen stand made from us because he wanted something on his table to inspire & push him to keep chasing his dream of being a renowned film director/producer in the world :)

So we painted his bright future onto this pen stand which portrays him living his dream of being able to script, direct and produce a super hit film that would make it to the Oscars ✨

Things didn't work out and that's okay!

Made this illustration that I was really excited about for a Women's Day bake sale in the hope that it would be used as a small token of love (along with the cakes) to remind women that is important to celebrate themselves!

Initially, I was a little upset that things didn't go my way because this illustration didn't make it to the bake sale, but later I thought that this is a perfect opportunity for me to learn, grow and do better next time. We all, especially women, have been in such situations where we feel things never go our way. Sometimes, we have to just step back and look at how far we've come and celebrate our journey :)

Let's celebrate our existence, our exuberance, our grit, our will power, our ambition, our confidence, our intelligence, our resilience, our charisma, our compassion, our passion, our consistency, our efforts, our work, our body and everything about ourselves!

There's so much thought that goes behind whats being painted & it's only to share such illustrious stories from our lives in the most fun way :D

This pen stand speaks volumes about the special friendship I share with a friend and the best memories I have with him ❤️

Isn't it so cool that a simple art form with basic shapes can convey so much ?:)
