On 7 December at 7 PM, Cocoon Dance Company presents Vis Motrix at Arthshila Delhi. Expect an immersive, futuristic movement language shaped by months of experimentation and exchange.

Cocoon Dance Company (Germany/Switzerland) brings Vis Motrix to JTPAC on 5 December at 7 PM.

Born from months of movement research inspired by breaking and krumping, Vis Motrix reshapes these forms into a futuristic, hypnotic world where bodies blur the line between human, animal, and machine.

Entry is free.

La magia de Albéniz en Delhi

The cultural programming by for 2024 came down in style as 2 INDIAS by Sahil Vasudeva enthralled audiences in Delhi.

With Sahil Vasudeva on the piano, Makrand Sanon on percussions, Akshay Dwivedi on double bass, Shahnawaz Khan on Sarangi and Suhel Saeed Khan on the Sitar, 2 INDIAS feature a contemporary music ensemble led by Vasudeva as he reimagines the diverse body of works by Spanish Composer Isaac Albéniz through this project.

The concert in Delhi was presented in collaboration
with the India Habitat Centre.

This concert was part of a national tour covering India extensively and presented by a range of incredible partners.

2INDIAS has been developed as a music incubation program by Embassy of Spain in India and the India tour was produced by Meta Arts India .

We have a sixth concert in 2025, so watch this space for more!

2 INDIAS has landed in the Pink City!

The Embassy of Spain in India is delighted to present the first concert of the 2 INDIAS National Tour in Jaipur with our esteemed partner, Rajasthan International Center

Conceived by pianist and composer, Sahil Vasudeva, 2 INDIAS emerged as a project from the first-ever Indo-Spanish music incubator presented by the Embassy of Spain in India. The project reimagines the works of legendary Spanish Composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz, performed for the first time ever globally with Indian classical instruments.

The Jaipur concert kicks off at 7 PM at the Rajasthan International Center, and we would be super chuffed if you came in to say high to our fab ensemble.

The 2 INDIAS ensemble comprises Sahil Vasudeva on the piano, Suhel Saeed Khan on the sitar Shahnawaz Khan on the sarangi, Makrand Sanon on world percussion and Akshay Dwivedi on the electro bass.

The Embassy of Spain in India is delighted to present the national tour of their hallmark music project
2 INDIAS by Sahil Vasudeva

Conceived by pianist and composer Sahil Vasudeva,
2 INDIAS emerged as a project from the first-ever Indo-Spanish music incubator presented by the Embassy of Spain in India. The project reimagines the works of legendary Spanish Composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz, performed for the first time ever globally with Indian classical instruments.

2 INDIAs will travel across seven locations in India. This tour is supported by a network of incredible arts and festival partners guaranteeing a never-before experience to music enthusiasts

The ensemble comprises Sahil Vasudeva on the piano, Suhel Saeed Khan on the sitar Shahnawaz Khan on the sarangi, Makrand Sanon on world percussion and Akshay Dwivedi on the electro bass.

"Female Affairs" is an international music development project that will bring together four women music composers from Germany and India to collaborate with each other.

The project's key focus is to facilitate new conversations between the composers on themes such as identity, race, and artistic heritage, enriching the compositions developed for the project.
