The region’s best dancers will face off, competing to win the crowd’s hearts.

The winner will advance to the national finals in Tampa FL.

Charlene ‘Chi-Chi’ Smith is a performance artist whose career covers commercials, television, film, Broadway and global stages. Dancer: LL Cool J, Salt n Pepa, Shakira, Missy Elliot, Diddy, Janelle Monae and more. Choreographer: National Commercials, MTV’s VMAs, “Mom Genes” PSA, off-Broadway theater productions, Bacardi Rum, and more. Best Mom to Best Kid Kane Emmanuel. Chi-Chi is starring in The Hippest Trip: Soul Train the Musical.

2026 brings opportunities for growth, collaboration, +  building new pathways for the future.

We’re excited to announce Shakia “The Key” Barron  will join us as the new Co-Artistic Director of Ladies of Hip-Hop Dance Collective.

Shakia is a scholar, dancer, choreographer, + educator that is deeply rooted in Hip-Hop culture.

Shakia steps into this role honoring the legacy LOHH  Dance Collective has built while shaping new work and pathways forward.

She brings leadership experience and a deep commitment to strengthening our artistic work, educational programs, + while staying true to our community roots.

We’re grateful to be building what’s next together. Please help us welcome Shakia to the family.! 🧡 🙏🏾🥳
