Meet Tiff! Tiff’s improv journey began in 2017 with the short form team, The Mighty Schmucks. Although she enjoys long form, she remains a short form gal at heart. Her favorite games are Press Conference, Moving People, and a game she created called Fantasy v. Reality. Aside from improv, Tiff loves planning surprise adventures for her friends, cooking, sewing, and playing games of all kinds - board, card, and video. Most of all, she loves holding babies!

Meet Katerina! Katerina is originally from Greece and lived in Florida before realizing her love for winter made NYC ideal. A 10-year improv veteran, Katerina is the most supportive scene partner imaginable. She is incredible at balancing “Yes, and” with realistic responses. Offstage, she’s a Taylor Swift super-fan and proud dog mom to Maggie! Fun fact: our whole group met for the first time on Katerina’s birthday 🎉

Meet Melanie! She got her start performing in musical theatre. She's originally from CA and moved to NYC ten years ago, but is still not sure she'll ever be a New Yorker. By day, Melanie is a clinical social worker which explains her love of psychoanalyzing improv scenes. She considers herself a "baby" improviser, having started just a year ago, not knowing her future held a big group of baby friends. Melanie's improv super power is her ability to edit scenes at the exact right moment, and she is widely adored for her sound advice and on-point product commendations.

Hold the Baby is a group of improvisers from a Level 1 improv class at the Magnet Theater in January 2022.

We've spent a year practicing, playing, traveling, meditating and becoming old friends; now we're ready to start performing. Our first show is scheduled for Friday, February 3rd at 10pm back at the Magnet, where it all began.
