Rohini a house where people can come together, speak their hearts out, cook together, share daily chores and sit together for Breakfast and Dinner . Sharing space and time with the community and loved ones have been a major cultural richness
in every community of India in the past. With time people often leave behind emotions and vulnerability to pursue platonic living standards. Rohini is that revolutionary futuristic house that has been serving the purpose of cultural authenticity for years now. The dream of building Rohini was conceived in the year 2010-11 and this was given shape by Dharmesh Jadeja-Dustudio in Auroville. This Red earth architectural structure from the outside has a huge indigenous hall, an island kitchen, a backyard patio, 6 bedrooms, and a host like Uma whose empathy might break many minutes of silence. The atmosphere of Sunday is usually a group in the kitchen area trying their hands on making delicious and healthy breakfast; alongside a group busy discussing newfound ideas by the window and the backyard patio seating is usually a hub of stories holding their favorite cup of tea/coffee. Some people have spent years meeting, greeting, and sharing ideas and emotions in this house. Rohini has seen many souls coming in - growing and blooming into themselves , a perfect bridge to a Future home called Auroville.
