आज मा. महेंद्र राजपा, माजी राष्ट्राध्यक्ष श्रीलंका यांची आज अजिंठा लेणीस भेट देऊन त्यांनी अजिंठा लेणीतील गौतम बुद्धावरील आधारीत प्राचीन शिल्पाचे आणि चित्रकलेचा ठेवा बघून मंत्र मुग्ध झाले . त्या प्रसंगी त्यांचे भारतीय पुरातत्त्व सर्वेक्षण , औरंगाबाद मंडळाचे अधीक्षक पुरातत्वविद डॉ दिलीप खमारीजी, डॉ शिवाकांत वाजपेयी, उपअधीक्षक यांनी स्वागत करून लेण्यांची माहिती दिली. सोबत महाराष्ट्र पर्यटन विकास महामंडळाचे मुख्य निदेशक श्री वाघमारे होते.
Today H.E. Mahendra "Mahinda" Rajapaksa, former president of Sri Lanka visited World Heritage Site Ajanta caves and after seen the ancient sculptures and paintings on the life Lords Gautam Budha expressed gratitude to ancient cultural heritage.

Yesterday, मा. श्री. आदित्य साहेब ठाकरे, युवा सेना प्रमुख, visited to Archaeological Survey India's protected momument of Anjeneri Group of temple at Anjeneri Ta. Trimbak Dist. Nasik. Welcomed behalf of ASI and took a round the monument. During the visit he is taken more interest to know about history, art and architecture, conservation and restoration activities by ASI. After seen restoration activity of temple feel very happy and give congratulations to ASI for conservation preservation and restoration of group of temples.
